Announcements:

July , 2022

In an email from the new ownership of South city Hospital to employees, staff and students of LSN, effective immediately LSN has permanently closed. Very sad news and a time for grieving. A sad ending for a school with a rich 124 year history of educating and graduating the best nurses in the area.  School transcripts will still be available free of charge.  Click this link for school transcripts: http://www..nursingschoollmc.com/transcript.php

Good Afternoon,

I hope you’re doing well! I’m reaching out to ask if you are open to sharing a new resource for nurses and nursing students on your page, alumnilsn.org/announcements-and-resources/?

My name is Samantha and I work with Education Loan Finance (ELFI), an organization designed to assist borrowers with student loan refinancing as well as undergraduate, graduate and parent private student loans.

This pandemic has proved even further what we’ve known to be true for a long time, nurses are a vital asset to healthcare. In order to offer some relief for their monthly loan payments, we recently created what we believe to be the most in-depth guide for nurses who may be thinking about refinancing their student loans. Please feel free to take a look at that, as well as our guide to the benefits of refinancing student loans:

elfi.com/a-nurses-guide-to-student-loan-refinancing/
elfi.com/benefits-of-student-loan-refinancing/

As a former CNA, I understand the work itself can be stressful enough, and student loan debt only adds to that stress. I thought these guides would offer some helpful information for those who need it! Would you consider sharing them on your page to help current and future nurses?

I appreciate your time, and look forward to your response!
